The Dragon of Trelian: A fantasy novel with 2 main characters. Princess Meglynne (Or Meg, as she prefers) and Apprentice Mage Calen. Meg has a possibly dangerous secret; she has accidentally bonded with a young, male dragon. In a kingdom where dragons are feared and killed, it has to be kept a secret, even from her family. Meg's sister is to be married to end a century long war. Calen has no friends, until he climbs a castle tower, and Meg comes up, too. For some reason, she decides to trust Calen with her secret. Calen and Meg stumble upon a plot to kill Maerlie, Meg's engaged sister. after a spell gone wrong (Sort of), Calen and Meg must return home to stop the traitor and secret/evil Mage.
